The new employees include an MIS Manager, MIS Officer, Procurement Officer, Internal Audit Officer, Store Assistant, Quality Assurance Officer, Administrative Officer, and Administrative Assistant.
Welcoming the new employees at the commencement of a three-day orientation session, the Director of Human Resources, Robert Dixon, expressed his excitement about their joining the Agency. He noted that they were among the successful candidates selected from a large number of applicants who competed for the positions.
Mr. Dixon explained that the orientation session is designed to help the new employees settle into their respective roles while familiarising them with the Agency’s institutional structure, operations, and expectations. He also took them through the NMSA Human Resource Manual, highlighting the rights and responsibilities of staff, institutional policies, and the processes involved in navigating their roles within the Agency.
Addressing the new employees, the Managing Director of NMSA, Madam Jatu Josephine Abdulai, expressed her excitement in welcoming the new members to the NMSA team. She noted that their expertise and experience would be important in helping the Agency effectively fulfil its mandate.

Madam Abdulai reminded the new employees of the unique qualities and competencies that distinguished them from the many applicants and contributed to their selection. She encouraged them to bring those qualities to bear in their respective roles and to remain committed to excellence in their work.
The Managing Director stressed the importance of integrity as a core value in the discharge of their responsibilities and in advancing the work of the Agency. She also highlighted teamwork, professionalism, and discipline as essential values for all NMSA staff.
Madam Abdulai wished the new employees every success in their respective positions, while encouraging them to make a positive contribution towards achieving NMSA’s mission of becoming a sustainable and reliable public-sector health supply chain service provider for Sierra Leone.
Over the next three days, the new employees will receive presentations from various directorates and departments within the Agency on their respective operations, functions, and responsibilities. The presentations are intended to provide the new staff with a comprehensive understanding of NMSA’s structure and operations, while helping them appreciate how the different directorates and departments work together to fulfil the Agency’s mandate.
