The National Medical Supplies Agency (NMSA) conducts two distribution activities every year on a quarterly basis. The Integrated and Free healthcare distribution.
The Integrated Distribution- The Integrated Distribution involves the delivery of HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria Drugs and Medical Supplies. The procurement of these commodities is supported from the GC 7 grant currently being implemented by the Ministry of Health through the support of The Global Fund to fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
Free Healthcare Distribution- The Free Healthcare Distribution involves distribution of drugs and medical supplies that targets beneficiaries including pregnant women, lactating mothers, children under-five, persons living with disabilities, Ebola and Covid 19 survivors. The distribution includes drugs for common illnesses and essential medical supplies.
